6th Grade History of the Ancient World:

Week of 1/5 - 1/9: Students will be studying the lasting effects of ancient Greece and Rome.

Assignments: CRES Test will be next Thursday 1/15/09.

Homework: 1. Review chapter quizzes and study guide for CRES test. 2.  Watch the news (international ex...CNN) for 10-15 minutes and discuss with your parents. The core of this assignment is to focus on international perspective and how we are connected to contemporary world events.

7th Grade History of the Medieval World:

Week of 1/5 - 1/9: Students will identify and describe various aspects of the Aztec, Mayan, and Incan empires.

Assignments: CRES Test will be next Thursday (1/15/09)

Homework:1. Review Chapter quizzes and CRES study guide. 2. Watch the news (international ex.CNN) for 15-20 min. and discuss with your parents. The core of this assignment is to focus on international perspective and how we are connected to contemporary world events.
