6th Grade History of the Ancient World:

Week of 2/16 - 2/20: Students will be analyzing and identifying the rise of early Sumerian civilizations.

Assignments:

Homework: 1. Review chapter quizzes and vocabulary. 2.  Watch the news (international ex...CNN) for 10-15 minutes and discuss with your parents. The core of this assignment is to focus on international perspective and how we are connected to contemporary world events.

7th Grade History of the Medieval World:

Week of 2/16 - 2/20: Students will identify the historic significance of the role of the Church in Medieval Europe.

Assignments: Unit test tenatively scheduled for Thursday (2/19/09)

Homework:1. Review Chapter quizzes and vocabulary. 2. Watch the news (international ex.CNN) for 15-20 min. and discuss with your parents. The core of this assignment is to focus on international perspective and how we are connected to contemporary world events.
