Hello from Mrs. Johnson,                                      

Welcome to Science.  This year we will be learning a plethoria of interesting Science information.  Topics are divided into three modules for each grade.  So lets dive in and take a look at what will be covered.

Sixth grade:

• Human Body
• Ecology/Interdependence
• Water

Seventh grade:

• Resource Management
• Oceans
• Vulnerability

Eighth grade:

• Energy
• Variations
• Space

Associated with each unit of study is a wide variety of vocabulary.  Being sucessful in Science not only includes mastering the vocabulary, but also in being able to write clearly and understandablity (YES - English skills are needed in Science) and being able to manipulate the math involved with each unit.
