Hi!

My name is Cheryl Richman.  I am the Speech/Language Pathologist for Middletown Middle and Middletown High. I have lived in Middletown for the past eleven years.  I have 2 children who graduated from Middletown High.  My daughter is a graduate of M.I.T. and currently lives and works in NYC as a business analyst.  My son is a freshman at Duke. Go Blue Devils!  My husband is a mortgage broker with 1st Mortgage USA.

I have been a speech pathologist for the past 20 years and have worked with all age groups and many different disabilities.

Speech/Language Pathologists, who work within the school system, work on many different aspects of communication that affect school performance or social skill interactions. Speech/Language Pathologists work on memory skills, social communication skills, improvement of listening and study skills, as well as verbal expression, articulation, syntactical, and fluency problems.

Here are a few fun web sites to stimulate vocabulary and language skills:

FunBrain- good site for vocabulary , verbal expression, and syntax

Memory- good for developing memory skills
