Welcome to our homepage! 

My name is Christine Wisner.  This is my 16th year teaching for Frederick County Public Schools.  This year is my 4th at WES!  I earned my BS from Mt. St. Mary's University and have a Masters of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Hood College.  I continue to take courses that will make my teaching stronger.  I believe to be a good teacher you have to continue to be a learner.

I have taught many elementary grades, when I began my career I taught 2nd grade.  I then worked in kindergarten for several years.  (My children were of the primary ages so I looked for a change and found it teaching literacy to 4th and 5th graders.)  I then moved back in the classroom as a third grade teacher.  In the last several years and currently I am in the area that I love the most, kindergarten.

I have a husband and two children at home.  My kids are soon to be 13 and 11.  We also have a dog.  I live on the outskirts of Frederick in the country.  Some of my personal interests include boating, camping, dancing, and watching the Redskins!
