Hours of operation:  Monday - Friday 7:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m.

Lunch passes are posted in the cafeteria lobby on a daily basis

Mission Statement and Goals

The Mission:

· Help students succeed academically.
· Prepare students for future academic challenges.
· Support the school curriculum.
· Promote reading.

The 2007-2008 Goals:

· Develop a high quality collection of materials for teacher and student use.
· Teach students correct material selection for research.
· Model correct use of research materials.
· Encourage the use of technology.
· Promote the love of reading.

General Information

Material Use:  Students are allowed to check out up to four books. Books have a 3-week loan period and may be renewed once. Students with overdue material are not allowed to check out any other materials until it is returned.

Technology: The media center is completely automated. Students use a computer program to locate materials. All media center materials are checked in and out using this program. Additionally, the media center houses a small computer lab for students to use for research and creation of school projects.
