My name is Ms. Donna Norwood.  I lived in Mt. Airy with an aunt, an uncle, and an older sister.  When I was about to enter 7th grade, we moved to Frederick, MD to be closer to my uncle's work.  My aunt was a teacher at Mt. Airy Elementary school, so my sister and I continued our education at the schools in Mt. Airy and then on to South Carroll High School.  I was in the first Junior Class at SCHS.

I graduated from Towson State College with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 1973.  In the early 80's I recieved my Masters Degree from Hood College.

I previously taught at several elementary schools in Frederick County before I came to Twin Ridge during it's second year of operation.
