We are very fortunate to have Mr. Kenny with us during first semester.  Mr. Kenny is a Hood college student majoring in History education.  Mr. Kenny worked with two of my American Studies 1 classes last year and has demonstrated a strong knowledge of the curriculum.  Additionally, he has good classroom management skills and establishes a good relationship with the students.  I am pleased that he returned to complete his internship with us.  He will be taking responsibility for the classes and teaching for most of the first semester.

Materials needed for class:

• 1 inch binder OR spiral notebook with 120 pages
• paper
• pencil or pen (blue or black ink)
• color pencils
• glue stick
• scissors
• a good attitude

To be considered prepared for class each day the student must bring the following to class:

• binder/notebook/paper
• pencil/pen
• textbook
• homework, if assigned
• good attitude
