Hi, My name is Miss Simmons. I live in Keymar, MD with my family and our nineteen pets. I am a twin. I am a huge Orioles and Redskins fan. I enjoy reading, organizing, watching old movies, being outside, and spending time with my family and friends.
I graduated from Mount Saint Mary's University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education. This is my first year of teaching and I am so excited to be at Glade

Karen Yeaton received a BA with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. Currently, she is attending Hood College in Frederick, Maryland in the pursuit of a MS in Reading Specialization. Karen has been employed at Glade Elementary School for the last three years and has previously taught fourth grade in Graham, NC.

I received my Bachelor degree in Physchology from Mount Saint Mary's and my Masters in Education (Special Education) from Johns Hopkins University. I began my teaching career in Prince George's county and later worked for Frederick County at Rock Creek School as well as the Home and Hospital Program. I have been working at Glade since October 2007. I have 2 daughters, a husband and an older dog who thinks she is still a puppy who keep me busy when I am not working my 1/2 time schedule.
