Welcome to 2nd grade! 

My name is Heather McAllister.  I am a 2000 graduate of Urbana High School.  During my first year of teaching, I taught 2nd grade in Montgomery County.  I am so excited to be back i in Frederick County and teaching for my 2nd year at Green Valley!  I currently live in Frederick with my wonderful cat Princess Grace and golden retriever Jenny.  In my spare time I love to read, work out and travel to far away (warm!) places, but my first passion in life is teaching.  I am a Terp and Redskin fan and never miss any games! 

Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be a teacher!  I enjoy coming to work everyday!  I am looking forward to a wonderful year in 2nd grade.  Please feel free to email me at any time with questions or concerns!
