EDUCATION:  I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown majoring in Elementary Education.

EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATION:  This will be my 6th year as a teacher and 6th year working at FCPS.  This is my first year at Oakdale Middle School, my previous experience was at Walkersville Middle School.

HOBBIES:  I enjoy spending time with my husband and family.  I also enjoy playing sports, reading, and hanging out with my friends.  My favorite sports are basketball, football, and I also enjoy skiing.

FAVORITE AUTHORS & BOOKS:  One of my favorite authors is Jerry Spinelli, of which I love the novels, Crash and Stargirl.

INTERESTING EXPERIENCE:  I played basketball at the University at Pittsburgh for four years and loved playing a college sport.  It was a wonderful opportunity!
