Music Schedule for 2008-2009 School Year

Kindergarten and First Grade Spring Concert was wonderful!
Second Grade Performed a Musical for B.E.S. and did an awesome job!
May 18th at 5:00 p.m. - The chorus performs at Roy Rogers fot the P.T.O.
May 28th at 9:45 a.m. - Chorus Concert for grades pre-K and 3-5
May 28th at 2:00 p.m. - Chorus Concert for grades pre-K and K-2
May 28th at 7:00 p.m. - Chorus Spring Concert for Parents and Community
May 29th at 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - Chorus field trip to Home Wood and Sommerford
June 3rd at 6:30 p.m. The Chorus performs the National Anthem at the Frederick Keys Stadium.
This year, your child will be participating in a music class designed to foster lifelong appreciation of music through active music making. The sequenced music instruction will help your child develop musical skills and understanding, using music of various styles from the United States and around the world. In addition to the developing specific musical skills, your child's studies in other areas will be enhanced by instruction that links concepts from across the curriculum
