Welcome to the Urbana Middle School Band website!!

Urbana Middle School currently has three sections of band offered as an elective: 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade band.  Each band performs at various times throughout the year including the winter and spring concerts.  The 8th grade band also performs at the county adjudication festival in the spring.  Please feel free to e-mail me or call me at any time with questions or comments.

WINTER CONCERTS!!!!

Wednesday December 17th-8th grade band 7:00 in cafeteria

Thursday December 18th-6th and 7th grade bands 7:00 in cafeteria

***Ask your child to play a song for you that they are learning in class!!  This not only shows you what they are learning, but it helps your child practice performing in front of an audience****

Parents, check out the new link to the left for Smartmusic, a new software program that will be used at school and that is also available to help with practice at home!!
