          The winter season is upon us!  Please remember that the temperature  in our room varies daily.  Feel free to send in a sweatshirt or sweater with your child so that they are comfortable throughout the day.  We will be going outside for recess daily unless it is bitter cold.  Please be sure your child is prepared for the outside temperature.      

         On February 7th, we will be celebrating the 100th day of school.  The boys and girls will be participating in fun learning activities that day.  We will be having our Valentine's Day celebration on Thursday, February 14th. The children will be rotating to each of the Kindergarten classrooms in the morning to complete Valentine's Day crafts and games.  We will be opening our valentines, enjoying a snack and playing games in the afternoon in our own clasroom. 

        Please remember to practice your child's word ring words with them daily.  Learning these words is an important skill and will help them in their reading and their writing.    When your child brings home their little books, please be sure to read their books with them. 

       Just a reminder that school is closed for students on January 21st, 22nd, and 23rd.
