HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR LIBRARY BOOK

Keep your library book in your backpack when you are not reading it. That way you will never forget it on your library day!
Have clean hands when you touch your library book.
Always use a bookmark to hold your place in a book when you stop reading. Never bend the pages of a book. See Mrs. Martin if you need a bookmark.
Do not eat or drink while you are reading your library book.
Do not draw or write in your library book.
Keep your library books away from your younger brothers and sisters.
Keep your library books away from your pets.
If you borrow a book that has a ripped page or the pages are falling out, please give it to Mrs. Martin so she can take it to the "book hospital" for repair.
Return your library books to the Media Center on your library day. If you finish your book earlier you may visit the library any morning between 8-8:30 to exchange your book. Ask your classroom teacher for permission!
