I am originally from western Pennsylvania,  but have lived in Maryland since graduating from California State University in 1971.  My teaching career began right here at Green Valley!  My husband and I have three daughters (Green Valley graduates!) and six adorable grandchildren.  They keep us busy but I also enjoy scrapbooking, reading, and traveling.  As a teacher I believe my job is to not only teach the skills students need to be successful today, but also to instill a lifelong love of learning.
