About me:

This is my 8th year teaching.  I have worked at WKMS for 5 years and UMS for 2.  I recieved my undergraduate degree at Shepherd College, now called Shepherd University, and my masters at Hood.  I have 2 dogs, one is a west highland terrier and the other is a terrier mix.  I love walking my dogs, going to the beach and spending time with friends and family. 

Purpose of Website:

Welcome to Ms. Greenes' Math web sight.  This is a site made for parents and students to use as a resource throughout the year.  I will update the sight to include important information that applies to my class daily. 

I added a few power points to help students with multiplication and division of whole numbers.  They are like electronic flash cards.

What are we doing this week?

Both honors and merit:  Every friday the students will recieve 2 review worksheets that are to be completed and turned in for a grade by the following Friday.  The worksheets will be graded for correctness.  The students will be given a resource manual to aid in solving the problems.  Parents can feel free to go over the worksheets with the children to insure that the are correct.

Merit: This week the students will add and subtract integers and review for the end of the year assessment.  Their will be a quiz on Tuesday for yellow and red or Wednesday for blue.  The end of the year assessment will be Thursday and Friday.

Honors: This week the students will solve multistep equations by combining like terms and review for end of the year assessment.  Their will be a test  Tuesday and the end of the year assessment Friday.
