Welcome to Mrs. Byrne's Life Skills Website. 

This is a site especially for parents and students.  On this website you will be able to find out what we will be doing in class and what homework there is.

I teach 6th grade Life Skills, 8th grade Life Skills and a combined 7/8th grades Life Skills class.  Please click on the tabs for more information on these classes.

'Z' Grades - if you see a Z grade when looking at Pinnacle that means the assignment is past due and you have a zero at present until you turn it in for partial credit.

  Week of Jan. 5, 2009

Here is what we are planning to do this week

7/8th grade  - We are in our sewing unit working on our babysitting bags.  This work will continue the next couple of weeks until the bags are finished.  Pinning, cutting, sewing seams, sewing casings, measuring and following directions will all come into play.

6th grade - The Family Life Unit will be Jan. 5-8.  Those students who do not have permission will be doing an alternate assignment on those days.
