Reading Writing Workshop Teacher for 6^th, 7^th,

and 8^th grades at Urbana Middle School

In the Reading Writing Workshop course,

students will receive instruction and

practice in the application of reading skills

and strategies necessary for content

courses.

Materials students need to bring to class are:

·       Notebook paper

·       Pencils, blue or black pens

·       UMS planner

·       A book to read

Homework

Reading Logs will be collected at the

beginning of each week. (Either Monday

or Tuesday depending on the A day

schedule)

Identify and provide specific examples relating to the main idea and details of your text.
