Students, Please remember it is your responsibity to come to class prepared. You need to bring your textbooks and materials, including calculators, to every class. If you do not have a calculator, the Math Department has a limited number available to loan. The loan form is available in the classroom. Borrowed calculators are due back on the last day of the semester. Thank you, Mr. Shaver.
Parents, Please reinforce to your student(s) that proper rest, also known as sleep, is important for good health. Students feel better and do better in school when they get the sleep that their growing bodies and minds need. However...school, particularly Algebra 2 class, is not where any student should be getting this rest. As a parent, I know that it's hard to get teenagers to get the sleep that they need, but I ask that you encourage your teenager to go to bed at a reasonable time so that he or she can do their best at school. Thank you, Mr. Shaver.
