Welcome to Urbana Middle School Science! 

This year I have the pleasure to teach both 6th and 7th grade sections.  For both of these classes:

• Students are required to keep a science notebook.  The notebook is organized chronologically.  The table of contents is updated daily.  Assignments, notes, labs, projects, quizzes and tests are numbered and added to this notebook.  There is a notebook quiz every two weeks. 
• There will be a content quiz every week to 10 days.
• There are 3 major tests, one after each unit.  A test counts as approximately 3 quiz grades.
• There are 3 CRES assessments, each of which will count as a quiz grade.
